.From 1941 through 1945, Nat Hull worked in Liason Engineering for Cessna Aircraft in Wichita Kansas.  During that time, he was also an officer in the Cessna Home Guard, and staff cartoonist for the plant employee publication CESSQUIRE

Cessquire Squints were used to pass along information, gossip, tips  etc. about doings around the factory.
Cartoons were topical, and 'PATRIOTIC'
Cessna used  Nat's cartooning to convey practical safety tips.
